UNESCO World Heritage : Ha Long Bay

Hạ Long Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests. Junk boat tours and sea kayak expeditions take visitors past islands named for their shapes, including Stone Dog and Teapot islets. The region is popular for scuba diving, rock climbing and hiking, particularly in mountainous Cát Bà National Park.

Ancient capital of Vietnam: Ninh Binh
Nearest City- Hanoi
Today the capital of Vietnam is Hanoi, but in the 10th and 11th centuries that honour was held by Hoa Lu. This small ancient city was naturally protected from invasions by karsts and rivers. Today, it’s a good place to get a history fix.

UNESCO World Heritage: Ba Na Hills
Nearest City- Da Nang
The Golden Bridge is a 150-metre-long (490 ft) pedestrian bridge in the Bà Nà Hills resort, near Da Nang, Vietnam. It is designed to connect the cable car station with the gardens (avoiding a steep incline) and to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. The bridge loops nearly back around to itself and has two giant hands, constructed of fibreglass and wire mesh, designed to appear like stone hands that support the structure.

UNESCO World Heritage: My Son Sanctuary

Between the 4th and 13th centuries a unique culture which owed its spiritual origins to Indian Hinduism developed on the coast of contemporary Viet Nam. This is graphically illustrated by the remains of a series of impressive tower-temples located in a dramatic site, that was the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom for most of its existence.

UNESCO World Heritage: Hoi An

Old Town Hội An, the city’s historic district, is recognized as a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port dating from the 15th – 19th century, its buildings and street plan reflecting a blend of indigenous and foreign influences. Formerly known in the Western world as Faifoo or Faifo, is a city of approximately 120,000 people in Vietnam’s Quang Nam Province, registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1999.
