The Bhutanese government requires a Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of ₹1200 per person per night (only for Indian Nationals) $100 per person per night (for foreign nationals) . This fee is used to support Bhutan’s environmental conservation efforts, cultural preservation, and development of local infrastructure. The SDF is included in the overall cost of the travel package.
